MONDAYS
SCIENCE DETECTIVES with teachers Mrs. Donham and Ms. Reed
The Science Detectives gives preschoolers 3 and up the thrill of scientific discovery as they explore the world of science. Preschool children have a natural curiosity as they discover, investigate and evaluate the world around them. This program will help expand their natural curiosity and wonder about the world God created! Science Detectives will help them learn about the scientific method, learn to propose a hypothesis, test it, observe what happens and report the results. They will develop vocabulary, listening skills, reasoning skills, problem solving, critical thinking and team work! We will be participating in many exciting hands-on experiments and activities. Let’s have FUN discovering science surprises! Science Detectives is taught by an experienced team of educators with a passion and love for exploration and learning. Mrs. Donham and Mrs. Reed will allow the opportunity for each student to discover and investigate many forms of science from “exploding volcanoes” to planting seeds and much, much more!
Classes are $70/month with a one time $30 supply fee. (September - May)
SOCCER STARS with Coach Bryan for ages 3-5.
An exciting program in which students learn valuable soccer skills such as balance, basic coordination and agility while exposing students to a variety of soccer techniques, including stance, ball movement, teamwork and more! Children will be encouraged to develop their mental, physical, and social abilities through creative soccer games and other activities. Soccer Stars is taught by an experienced soccer coach and player who has worked with children ages 3-8 for over 20 years. Bryan has led sports leagues and soccer leagues from Jacksonville to Boca Raton. His gentle spirit and passion for full body health and soccer will naturally overflow into the hearts and minds of his students. Coach's passion and love of the game comes through in each class he holds at CEC. All equipment is provided by the instructor and the class is for 45 minutes with 15 minute water/potty break.
Classes are $70/month, (September - May)
TUESDAYS
TINY TIGERS Martial Arts with Coach Bryan for ages 3-5.
Our Tiny Tigers Martial Arts Program gives preschoolers ages 3 and up the opportunity to conquer the developmental challenges of focus, memory, coordination and discipline through the ancient study of the martial arts. This program is designed to teach the core elements of martial arts: Focus (memory, control), Exercise (balance, coordination) and Discipline (Respect) with engaging games, music and more! Age appropriate and non-competitive--all students wil have equal participation.
Coach Bryan is a level 1 instructor certified by Krav Maga Worldwide and brings 9 years of martial arts experience to our program. In addition to leading martial arts classes, Bryan has also led sports leagues and soccer leagues from Jacksonville to Boca Raton. His gentle spirit and passion for full body health and the martial arts will naturally overflow into the hearts and minds of our his students.
Classes are $70/month. (September- May)
Attire: School clothes and closed toed shoes. No skirts or extremely loose fitting clothing, please.
Dance Class with Ms. Melanie of Dancing Little Stars for ages 3-5.
Experience Ballet, Tap and Hip-Hop in a fun, interactive class.
The Dancing Little Stars Class is designed to introduce the young dancer, with little or no experience, to basic dance movements and vocabulary. We have created a unique curriculum in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere to teach the basic skills of creative movement, ballet, hip-hop, rhythmic gymnastics, percussion, tap and music interpretation. Dancing Little Stars is focused on the individuals’ achievements while developing coordination and self-confidence.
Students will perform in a full scale recital in May complete with recital costumes.

WEDNESDAYS
LEAPING LITERACY with Ms. Reed and Mrs. Donham for ages 3-5.
This program helps build the early literacy foundation to create excitement and curiosity for pre-reading, reading, and literacy comprehension skills. Students will be introduced to fun and familar stories which will expose them to many styles of writing, comprehension, and a fun-interactive presentaion of the book with drama, music, finger plays, art, props, and snack. The program is fun, highly interactive and builds confidence for reading and literacy skills for the future.
Classes are $70/month, (September - May)
THURSDAYS
TUMBLE TIME with Ms. Liz for ages 2-5.
This after school enhancement provides 30-45 minutes of creative and fun curriculum that offers the best fundamental and innovative instruction from a certified gymnastic coach with over 22 years of experience. Experts agree that children who are physically fit and active are healthier and more self-confident than children who do not experience regular vigorous exercise. This class enhances motor development, improves fitness and coordination, promotes self-confidence and encourages healthy attitudes towards fitness.
Two classes are available and students are assigned to the class by the instructor based on age and ability.
Cost: $70/month, (September - May)
MULTIPLE DAY CLASSES
Terrific 2's Exploration Time with Miss Marisa
This program gives our two's students the opportunity to examine their world through play and exploration. The students are exposed to a variety of manipulatives, art center, drama center, music, science, engaging stories and more. It's an extension of their typical day at CEC and gives parents a little extra time before picking up their child or siblings. Students will engage and explore at their own pace while being offered gentle guidance and assurance from their teachers.
Cost is $140/month for 3-4 days per week (Monday-Thursday)
$105/month for 2 days per week
$70/month for 1 day per week
**Days must remain consistant for planning and attendance purposes
IE: Monday/Wednesday, only Thursday, etc
THIS CLASS WILL NOT BE OFFERED UNTIL JANUARY 2024, based upon need.
READING ROCKETS with Mrs. Miguel and Mrs. Smith
for our Pre-k students only.
This program immerses students in pre-reading and reading skill enhancements to help with phonics, left to right progressions, beginning and ending sounds, blends, sight words and word building to help build a strong foundation in reading. Pre-writing skills will also be reinforced during this time with journaling and story creation. This program is fun, highly interactive and helps build confidence for the future. This course was created by Mrs. Miguel with over 10 years experience in the pre-k classroom. The instructor assigns the students to the classes that are held either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 1:30-2:30 PM.
Classes are $108/month and a one-time $30 curriculum supply fee.
This class is a 2-day a week class. $108/month
Cost breakdown is $60/month for 1st class and 20% off second class $48/month. $60+$48=$108/month.
